Volunteers Needed! Once again LASARA members have a great opportunity to give back to the community and earn a little money to help our association with future funding needs. Saturday July 18th, 2009 marks the 16th anniversary of Thunder in the Valley and LASARA has once again been asked to help with crowd and traffic control. In past years, LASARA efforts at this event have helped us raise significant donations to help with funding of our operating costs. Best of all, you get to watch the fireworks! We need 15 volunteers to fulfill duties in Blairmore starting Saturday afternoon and ending Sunday morning. Flagman training may need to be completed prior to this event. A situational brief will be included this year to ensure safe operating standards are in place. We will have duties to meet your skill level regardless of your level of training. Don't be afraid to sign up. Please contact Jassen Jackman at
