Pincher Creek Search and Rescue will be offering a SAR Fundamentals Course in Pincher Creek, Alberta on March 5-7 and March 19-21, 2010 (specific location TBA). South Eastern Search & Rescue (SEASAR) is offering training for the Adventure Smart Program (Hug a tree, Snow safety Education and Survive Outside). Our January Training Session will involve a basic reivew of how VHF/UHF radios work, what's involved in getting your HAM Radio License, and new operating procedures for Radio Communications with LASARA. If you have a radio of your own, please bring it to our January Meeting. Reference material will be available for download from the LASARA Webiste before the meetings. |
